In 2021, during my senior year of college and the height of The Mandalorian’s second season, I noticed a gap in the market. Disney has not released a physical collector’s edition for seasons 1 and 2 yet. I filled that gap and built a custom box set for seasons 1 and 2.

The goal was to create a visual identity that Disney wouldn’t explore. I noticed the polished standard designs and wanted to offer an alternative to Disney’s style. My research brought me back to the gritty atmosphere of Spaghetti Westerns and Japanese Samurai movies. The final set features four custom sumi-e cases with matching booklets and disc art, a dedicated “behind the scenes” feature, and a sleek, minimalist slipcase to house the collection.
